Terms And Conditions
1. All entries should be submitted before the closing date of 29 October 2005 12 mid-night. Any entries posted after will not be accepted.
2. Mediacorp Radio will announce and contact the winner via phone and by post on 7 th November 2005.
3. Once the winner has been selected, the person is obliged to participate in the Final Challenge event and must be prepared to perform the Waltz Dance with a partner during the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire gala premiere event in Singapore on 14 th November 2005.
4. Only persons aged 18 years and above are eligible to participate in this contest and the Final challenge promotion. By participating in this promotion, participants agree to abide by the rules and regulations set for this promotion.
5. This promotion is open to all Singapore citizens, PR residents and valid work permit holders except employees of Warner Bros. (S) Pte Ltd, cinema exhibitors, associated advertising agencies, vendors and immediate staff of Mediacorp Press, Radio and TV.
6. Warner Bros. Reserves the right at any time and in its absolute discretion to vary the terms and conditions (or any part thereof) and/or to terminate the promotion without prior notice or reason.
7. As all prizes are subject to stock availability, Warner Bros. (S) Pte Ltd reserves the right to cancel, change, substitute or remove the prizes at any time with or without notice to the participants.
8. By participating in this promotion, the participants agree to take part in any promotion or publicity exercise as may be conducted by Warner Bros. (S) Pte Ltd and the participants hereby irrevocably and unconditionally grant Warner Bros. Singapore (S) Pte Ltd all consent and waivers necessary for Warner Bros. (S) Pte Ltd to record and use the participants’ performance, appearance, likeness, name, voice or particulars (as the case may be) in any manner as Warner Bros. (S) Pte Ltd, shall in its sole discretion deem fit. The participants acknowledge that Warner Bros. (S) Pte Ltd shall be at liberty to publish and otherwise use any recordings made by Warner Bros. (S) Pte Ltd, including without limitation telephone recordings, audio recording, visual recording and photographs (if any), for the promotion and publicity of this promotion (whether now or in the future).
9. Where permissible, each participant waives all rights which the participant may acquire or have under the law (and any subsequent enactment or amendments thereto) and any other rights which the participants may have or be entitled to under the law.
10. Limitation of liability – Warner Bros. (S) Pte Ltd accept no responsibilities and will not be liable for any loss, injuries, expense, delays or irregularities resulting from the participation in the promotion.
11. Warner Bros. (S) Pte Ltd makes no product representation or warranties, express or implied, and disclaims any and or liability, as to the condition, quality, merchantability or fitness for use of goods/products and/or services provided to the participants upon redemption of prizes.
12. Warner Bros. (S) Pte Ltd will not be liable for any loss or injury suffered by the participants, their families or third parties as a result of use of the prizes and premiums.
13. Warner Bros. (S) Pte Ltd shall not in anyway be held responsible or liable for any aspect of prizes and premiums.
14. All prizes cannot be returned or exchanged for other prizes and are not refundable for cash or credit under any circumstances whatsoever. All prizes are non-transferable and must be utilized by the respective winners.
15. Any and all incidentals (including but not limited to hotel room service, laundry, long distance call, cost of VISAs etc.) incurred throughout the trip will be borne by winners and not Warner Bros. (S) Pte Ltd.
16. Any extension of trip by the winner shall be strictly at their own expense.
17. Winner will have to liaise with the appointed travel agency for the purpose of planning the itinery.
18. The prize trip is valid from 9 – 11 December 2005 and the winner will be required to travel during this period. Prize will be forfeited and will not be substituted if winner chooses not to redeem.
19. All other terms and conditions apply.
20. The judges’ decision is final and no enquiries will be entertained.
